About Custom Landscaping and Lawn Care

In midsummer the shade near Devoe Lake holds cool into the afternoon, and grass under it grows on a different clock than the open lawns a block away. Custom Landscaping and Lawn Care reads a South River property that way, setting mowing height, trim lines and cleanup timing to the ground underfoot rather than to a date. The attention carries into the cold half of the year, when driveways and walkways are plowed, shoveled and salted through each storm. There is a plain pleasure in the last pull of a mower across a lawn, and in the first look back at a cleared drive with the tailgate still open. The borough is only a couple of square miles, and every property in it deserves the same thought.
