About RG Tree Service
Across the Raritan from Somerville the old estate woods stand in long, deliberate rows, and the town keeps an inheritance of its own in the maples and oaks over the streets off Main. RG Tree Service prunes them the way you tend anything meant to outlast you: deadwood out, crossing limbs gone, weight taken off the long reaches. Removals come when a tree has become a hazard over a roof or a sidewalk, and trimming keeps the rest clear of wires, gutters and second-floor windows. When weather comes up the valley and lays a limb across a driveway, the crew clears it, runs the brush through the chipper and sweeps the walk behind them. There is real pride in leaving a street looking like it was always kept that way.
