Atlantic Tree Care

About Atlantic Tree Care

The southwest wind comes across Great Egg Harbor Bay every afternoon, and the trees in Somers Point grow leaning away from it, salt-pruned on the water side long before anyone brings a saw. Atlantic Tree Care works with that instead of against it, thinning crowns so wind passes through rather than pushing, trimming cedars and pines back off rooflines, taking down what salt and weather have finished. The day after a big coastal storm is cutting, dragging and hauling from sunup until the yard is clear. Pruning near the bay is a question of balance: enough canopy for shade, not so much that the next blow can use it as a sail. When the work is done, the porch gets back both its breeze and its view.
