There is one week in early April when the forsythia goes off along the fence lines and every lawn in Sicklerville needs cutting on the same day. My Lawn Care & Landscaping Company starts its season right there — first mow, first edge, spring cleanup, beds raked out and mulched before the weeds get any ideas. After that it is weekly and unglamorous: mowing, trimming, edging, hedges, walks blown down before the truck rolls. The last act comes in November, leaves hauled off and one final low cut to send the grass into winter clean. Between those two bookends a lawn either gets attention or it doesn't, and anyone can tell which from the sidewalk.
