Off Cross Keys Road the streets curl away into cul-de-sacs — young trees, wide aprons, driveways all facing a slightly different direction. JPL Landscaping LLC learned those loops the way a mail carrier does: which corner drifts, which turnaround needs the plow angled the other way, which lawn holds water for two days after a hard rain. Summer means mowing, trimming, edging, mulch and hedge work; the shoulders of the year mean cleanups; winter means plowing, shoveling and salt. Getting a whole cul-de-sac open before the school buses run is a small and genuine victory. So is a straight edge along a new sidewalk in June.
