Royal Tree Service

About Royal Tree Service

Short Hills climbs the first Watchung ridge under a canopy that took a century to close: tulip poplars, white oaks and beeches shading roads that curve because the hills told them to. Royal Tree Service prunes for that inheritance, favoring reduction over topping, deadwood out, the crown lightened so a big tree keeps standing over the house rather than on it. Trimming happens above slate, stone and cars that should never have anything land near them, so every piece is roped, lowered and set down by hand. When heavy wet snow or a summer downburst crosses the ridge, the cleanup leaves the lawn looking like a mower has just gone through. Removal is the last resort here, and when it is the right call, the yard is left open, quiet and clean.
