About John Recchia Landscaping

Old stone walls run through the woods on the Drakestown side of Roxbury, laid by people clearing the same glacial rubble that still turns up under a lawn. John Recchia Landscaping works that country in both directions: mowing, trimming, edging and cleanups through the green season, then plowing driveways, clearing walkways and spreading salt once January settles onto the hills. A long rural drive after a storm is a real piece of work, and there is pride in having it open before the coffee goes cold. In summer that same drive is a mowing route with a view down the valley. The year up here is honest that way — it asks for both trucks.
