About Stone’s Landscaping

Old stone walls run through the woods around Beach Glen and Marcella, laid up out of whatever the glacier left behind, and Rockaway's lawns still sit inside those lines. Stone's Landscaping tends what grows between them — mowing on a set schedule, trimming tight to the stone, edging the walks and drives, and clearing out at both ends of the year. Late August here is dusty and loud with crickets, and a lawn cut on the right day holds its look for a full week. There is a craft in the last twenty feet of any yard, where the mower meets rock and root. Getting that corner right is what the whole job gets judged by.
