At five on a January morning White Meadow Lake is a plate of black ice and every road above it is still untouched. D&D Lawn Care runs those hours, plowing drives, shoveling out walks and steps, and salting where the slope wants to hold ice all day. The route is a rhythm — house to house, headlights and the scrape of the blade — and by seven the neighborhood can get to work.
