Some January mornings the whole town goes silver — frozen puddles, glazed hedges, the Navesink flat and pewter under a low sky. Silverstone Landscaping is out ahead of the sun on days like that, plowing drives, opening walks and steps, laying salt on the slick where runoff crosses the pavement and sets up hard. Six months later it is a different animal entirely: mowers off the trailer, edges cut in tight against the walks, cleanups hauled away, lawns held even through the humid stretch of July. Same houses, same crew, opposite weather. Both jobs end the same way, with a property that plainly looks looked-after.
