Defazio's Lawn Service

About Defazio's Lawn Service

February in Red Bank is a freeze-and-thaw town. Snow softens by afternoon under a sun coming off the river, then locks up hard overnight, and the sidewalk that was fine at noon is glass by seven. Defazio's Lawn Service handles both ends of that — plowing drives, shoveling steps and walks, putting salt down where the refreeze will find it — and come April trades the blade for the mower and starts the weekly cutting, edging and cleanups all over again. The two jobs feel unrelated until you notice they are the same one: keeping a property usable, whatever the sky is doing. A cleared driveway at daybreak earns the same nod as a fresh-cut lawn in June.
