About Top Notch Tree & Excavating LLC

West of town the land begins to tilt toward the hills, and plenty of yards out that way are more slope, rock and root than level ground. Top Notch Tree & Excavating LLC takes those on: mowing the banks, trimming what a machine can't reach, edging, mulching the beds that hold the grade, and seeding the thin stretches until the turf finally knits. Autumn means leaves off and beds cut back; spring means the winter's mess cleared and a first cut that wakes everything up. At the end of a long day there is that look back down the yard — awkward ground made even and green — which is the whole reason to do it. Ramsey, Oakland, Mahwah, Franklin Lakes and Wyckoff.
