About R&C Lawn Maintenance LLC

Late in an August afternoon the Ramapo Mountains throw their shadow east across this corner of Mahwah, and the heat breaks an hour earlier than it does out on the flats. R&C Lawn Maintenance LLC mows and maintains lawns around the Ramapo College area, where the ground rolls off the ridge toward the river bottom and the soil goes from stony to soft in the space of a block. Mowing, edging, trimming and seasonal cleanups make up the week, tuned to how fast grass runs after a mountain thunderstorm. The reward is an even sweep of green set against all that dark hillside behind it. Cool nights come early against the state line, and the lawns hold their color late because of it.
