About Wells Tree & Landscape

October comes up the Stony Brook with a cold rinse of air; the long field at the Princeton Battlefield goes the color of straw, and the Institute Woods lets down its first serious weight of leaves. Wells Tree & Landscape keeps the lawns along that edge of town, where turf meets old woodland and every yard takes its share of the canopy. Mowing runs late into the fall, leaves are carted off rather than left to mat and sour the grass, and beds are edged so the line between lawn and mulch stays clear. Aeration and overseeding go in while the ground still holds warmth, quietly setting up the green that shows in April. A lawn put to bed properly in November is an easy lawn come spring — that is the trade being made.
