One Call N.J.

About One Call N.J.

Pompton Plains earned its name honestly: flat river ground where the Pequannock and the Ramapo come together and the water table is never far under the grass. One Call N.J. works those properties all the way around the calendar, with mowing, trimming and edging on a regular round, mulch in the beds, and the fall leaf clearing a floodplain full of hardwoods insists on. When storms track up the valley the trucks turn to plowing driveways and lots, opening walkways, and salting the spots where daytime melt locks up overnight. Wet ground cuts differently and freezes differently, and knowing which is which is most of the work. One number, two seasons, and a property that never quite gets away from you.
