September is Point Pleasant's reward — warm ground, cool nights, the ocean still holding onto summer and the crowds already gone home. It is the strongest month there is for turf, and Scott's Lawn Care spends it feeding, overseeding and cutting a little higher so the roots reach down before the cold arrives.
