About Surf & Turf Roofing, Solar and Windows

Snow reaches Pleasantville with the ocean arguing against it — wet, heavy, thrown sideways by an easterly that has already crossed the back bay before it hits Bayview Avenue. Surf & Turf Roofing, Solar and Windows runs snow removal through those nights, plowing driveways and lots and shoveling the walks the wind keeps refilling. Three in the morning is the honest hour of this work: headlights, the scrape of the blade, and the far lights of the island across the meadows the only other thing awake. By the time the Black Horse Pike fills with commuters, the pavement is open and the piles are stacked where they will not block a car door. There is something worth standing behind in a drive that is clear before anyone has to ask.
