Cheek Lawn Care

About Cheek Lawn Care

October gets to the sidewalk maples on Pleasantville's older blocks and then, over one windy week, takes them all down at once. Cheek Lawn Care meets that week head-on, raking and blowing the gutters and the narrow side yards clear, hauling off whatever the wind stacked against the porch steps. The rest of the year is the steady part: mowing, string trimming, and edging where the grass tries to creep across the sidewalk seams. Grass grows late into the fall this near the ocean, so the final cuts come well after the leaves do. A block that has been worked shows it — sharp borders, open walks, nothing left hiding in the hedges.
