About Mateo Landscaping and Tree Service

On West Front Street the Drake House has held its ground since Washington used it, and the sycamores along that stretch shed their bark in pale plates all summer long. Mateo Landscaping and Tree Service works the lawns beneath trees like those, mowing and trimming where roots surface and the shade shifts hour by hour. Grass under an old canopy grows uneven, and it takes reading the yard rather than running one pattern straight across it. Cleanups carry off what the branches drop, which in Plainfield is a steady tax from May to November. The finish is simple and worth having: a green floor under big trees, edged clean where it meets the walk.
