Marino's Lawn Care

About Marino's Lawn Care

Some mornings the Delaware throws up a fog thick enough to hide Easton entirely, and Phillipsburg sits above it like an island. Marino's Lawn Care is out in that hour most of the year — mower gates down through the warm months, plow hung and salt loaded once the forecasts turn. The pleasure is in the contrast: a summer lawn striped clean to the property line, and a February driveway scraped to blacktop while the rest of the street is still white. Both are really the same job, which is making a place usable and good to look at. The work runs across Phillipsburg and the towns strung along the river road.
