Elegance Lawn & Garden Care

About Elegance Lawn & Garden Care

Perth Amboy keeps its Victorians up on Kearny Avenue, porches riding high over front gardens that get looked after. Elegance Lawn & Garden Care works those small deep yards — mowing, edging, keeping the beds clean-shouldered against the walk. On a June evening, when the light comes sideways off the bay and the block goes gold from the water up, a lawn cut that morning holds its color better than anything else on the street. That is the reward: not the noise of the work but the hour afterward, when the grass lies flat and even and the bed lines look drawn rather than dug. Lawn and garden care, in a city where the front yard is the room everybody sees.
