About Action Lawn & Landscape, Inc.

Route 31 comes down out of the Hopewell hills into Pennington, and on a snow morning the plow work starts long before the first pair of headlights. Action Lawn & Landscape opens driveways and walkways and lays down ice control while the borough is still blue-dark, so a car can back out at seven without a second thought. When the thaw arrives and the shoulders green up along the old farm roads, the same trucks trade blades for mowers — cutting, edging, trimming, and hauling off whatever winter left behind. There is a plain satisfaction in a drive cleared end to end, and in a lawn whose borders run true against the walk. Pennington is a small place that notices such things.
