Metro Snow Solutions

About Metro Snow Solutions

Route 19 drops into Paterson like a chute, and when a storm tracks up the coast the whole valley catches it at the same hour. Metro Snow Solutions is out in that hour: plowing lots, stacking the piles where they will not block sightlines, opening walkways and treating them so the morning refreeze has nothing to hold. Four a.m. under a lot light, with the blade throwing white and the salt spreader running, is the working heart of a city winter. Entrances get cleared to the pavement, curb cuts get cut open, and the tail of the storm gets a second pass instead of an excuse. Everyone who arrives at eight sees only an ordinary parking lot, which is exactly the result the night was for.
