At the north edge of Paterson, where the streets run toward the Hawthorne line and Goffle Brook, the city loosens up and the yards get a little more room to breathe. Jiask Landscape works that edge in both directions of the year: mowing, trimming and cleanups through the growing months, plowing and salting once the pavement turns hard. Brook-side ground stays damp late into spring, so the first cuts get timed to the soil rather than the calendar.
