Harvest Lawn Care

About Harvest Lawn Care

October is the month this city hands over its color all at once — the side-street maples turning, the ridge above the Passaic going rust and gold in about a week. Harvest Lawn Care spends it raking, blowing and hauling, clearing leaves off Paterson lawns before they mat down and smother the grass underneath. The rest of the season it is mowing and trimming and edging, a steady rhythm from the first spring cut through the last one of November. Curb strips, tree pits and the awkward ground behind a garage all get the same attention as the front lawn. There is a particular satisfaction in a yard raked bare and even on a cold bright afternoon, ready for whatever comes next.
