About Alex's Landscaping & Design

Paterson yards are often small — a green strip behind a two-family on Sandy Hill, a front square about the size of a rug — and small is where design matters most. Alex's Landscaping & Design shapes those spaces and then keeps them: mowing, edging, planting beds, laying mulch, holding the shrubs to a line. At dusk, when the streetlights come on over the hill and the city noise drops a notch, a well-made little yard turns into somewhere you actually want to sit. The idea is never to overfill it, only to give it structure — a curved bed edge, a clean border, a lawn that ends where it should. Season after season the shape holds, and that is the quiet reward of the trade.
