Snowblowing Backup

About Snowblowing Backup

The morning after a storm has a particular brightness in Troy Hills — sun off new snow, roofs steaming, and sidewalks that are either open or they are not. Snowblowing Backup handles that half of the job: walkways, front steps, the path out to the mailbox, driveways brought down to pavement, and salt where shade keeps the ice honest. A snowblower throwing a clean white arc out across the yard is satisfying to watch and even better to come home to. Nobody wants to be the house with the untouched walk while the rest of the block is clear. That, more or less, is where the name comes from.
