About Mundy's Landscaping

The Rockaway River takes its slow bend past Lake Hiawatha, and the grid of streets beside it holds some of the smallest, tidiest lawns in the township. Mundy's Landscaping runs those blocks in June, when growth is fast and the schedule is unforgiving — mow, trim, blow the walks, on to the next. The smell of cut grass hangs over the street for an hour after the truck pulls away, which is as good a signature as any. At the first storm the crew swaps decks for plows and clears those same driveways corner to corner, salt worked into the slope. Spring and fall, the cleanups bracket all of it.
