About Phillip's Landscaping Inc.

The island is a grid, and a grid rewards a route: down one numbered street, up the next, alleys and back drives worked in order until the whole neighborhood is done. Phillip's Landscaping Inc. moves through Ocean City that way, mowing and trimming in the growing months and clearing snow off the same drives when the cold comes in from the bay. Yards here are close together, so a finished block shows plainly — even cuts, tight corners, walks blown clean end to end. In summer the pace is weekly and relentless; in winter it's whatever the storm decides, at whatever hour it decides it. Either way the standard is the same: the property looks looked-after when you leave it.
