About Flores Landscaping

Up in the Gardens at the north end the hedges are old and heavy, hydrangeas lean blue over the fences, and early mornings smell like wet privet and bay water. Flores Landscaping works those blocks and the rest of Ocean City, cutting lawns that sit in the shade of cedar shingles and salt-bent trees. Late spring is the hinge of the year here: everything wakes at once, the beds fill in, and grass that looked thin in April is suddenly asking for a weekly visit. The crew's pleasure is in the small geometry — a bed line held in a smooth curve, a strip of lawn between hedge and walk mowed without a single scuff on the shingles. By the time the day warms, the equipment is loaded and the street is quiet again.
