Big Mike's Tree & Landscape

About Big Mike's Tree & Landscape

A nor'easter announces itself off the Atlantic hours before the first flake, the wind swinging around until the long run of Route 72 toward the causeway hums with it. Big Mike's Tree & Landscape is out in the middle of that — plowing driveways in Ocean Acres while the storm is still coming down, clearing walks and steps, putting salt where coastal wet snow will glaze over before dawn. Snow rarely falls dry on this part of the shore; it comes heavy and full of water and it sets like poured stone if nobody moves it. So the passes get made through the night rather than waiting for the sky to finish. The payoff arrives at first light: pavement showing, a path cut to the door, and a car that leaves on time.
