Oakland keeps a sandstone Dutch house at the corner where Ramapo Valley Road meets Franklin Avenue, and in April the grass around old stone comes back green before anything else in the borough. PAPS Landscape Design works in that same spirit of shape and proportion: mowing, edging along walks and drives, trimming the corners a mower rounds off, and spring and fall lawn cleanups. A lawn given a defined line looks intentional from the street, and intention is the thing people notice without ever naming it. Oakland is the home borough, with lawns kept in Franklin Lakes, Wyckoff and Midland Park.
