About Conte General Contracting LLC

At three in the morning the Passaic runs black along Nutley's eastern edge and the streetlights hold their small cones of falling snow. Conte General Contracting LLC is out in that hour, plowing driveways and lots while the township is still one long unbroken white. Walkways get scraped down to the concrete and treated so the morning's first steps land flat. There is a particular satisfaction in the last pass of a driveway — the clean rectangle, the pile stacked out of the way, the truck rolling on to the next street. By the time the kitchen windows go yellow, the work reads as if the storm had simply skipped that address.
