Birch Grove Park holds a chain of dark cedar-water ponds in the middle of Northfield, and in April the town seems to green up outward from there. Miller's Lawn Care takes that as the starting gun — first cut, cleanup of everything winter dropped, borders redefined after months of frost heave. Then comes the long weekly turn through the humid coastal summer: mower, trimmer, blower, one property after the next. There is real pride in grass cut at the right height with the passes running true every visit. By November the routine winds down to leaves and a final low pass, and the ground goes to bed tidy.
