Bayview Garden Nurseries

About Bayview Garden Nurseries

Northfield sits on the mainland shoulder of the back bays, where the light comes in wide and salted off the water and the growing season runs long. Bayview Garden Nurseries works that light from both ends of the calendar — beds and lawns kept in trim through the warm months, drives and walks opened again once winter closes them. There is a plain satisfaction in a property that looks tended: mown lines running true, borders cut clean along the walk, grounds holding their shape week after week. The garden center side of the business keeps the work close to the soil, and the maintenance side keeps it honest. When the wet coastal snow arrives overnight, the same hands that shaped the summer beds are out clearing pavement before the day starts.
