Proodian Gardens

About Proodian Gardens

Above North Haledon the woods of the High Mountain preserve keep their own weather, and the borough below takes whatever comes down off that ridge. Proodian Gardens works both ends of that year. In the green months it is mowing, edging, trimming and bed work — the sort of upkeep that makes a June evening on a back lawn feel like something you planned months ago. In the cold ones it is plows and shovels and salt, drives and paths cut open while the sky over the hemlocks is still the deep blue that isn't quite morning yet. Same properties, same hands, whichever way the weather decides to go.
