About Custom Ground LLC

March in North Haledon is two seasons in one day: south-facing yards run wet by noon while the north slopes stay locked, traprock ledge holding cold like a stone in a pocket. Custom Ground LLC works that seam, plowing what falls late in the year and treating the shaded aprons where an afternoon thaw comes back as glass after dark. Late storms are heavy and short-lived, so the clearing has to be quick and complete or the freeze finishes the job badly. The reward is small and entirely real — a driveway you can cross in slippers to fetch the paper, on a morning the ridge still has ice in its shadows.
