About Livia Design

Off Bergenline Avenue the side streets of North Bergen open into pocket yards — a strip of grass, a hedge, a border along the walk — and by May every one of them wants attention at once. Livia Design keeps them cut and shaped: mowing, trimming, edging, weeding the beds and refreshing the mulch so the color reads clearly from the curb. Small spaces reward exactness, and here the difference between a tidy yard and a shaggy one is a few careful inches. Summer is weekly work; spring and fall are the cleanups that reset everything. In a township this dense, a well-kept lawn is a kind of generosity to the whole block.
