About Duane Landscape and Design

Schuyler Avenue carries the name of the old copper mine that was worked on this ground long before the houses came, and the soil along it still runs to rock and stubborn clay. Duane Landscape and Design works with what North Arlington gives — mowing, trimming, edging, and the bed work that turns a difficult little lot into something shaped. Spring is when all of it announces itself: the cleanup, the first cut, the border re-cut clean against the walk. Hedges are brought back to a line, beds cleared, the lawn set up for the months of growth ahead. By the time the maples start dropping, the route runs the other direction, clearing until the grass shows again.
