About MGAPE LLC

The limestone under this part of Sussex County runs close to the surface, and near the sinks and ponds outside Newton the topsoil can be thin, which makes a good lawn an accomplishment rather than an accident. MGAPE LLC works with that ground — mowing high enough to shade the roots, trimming around ledge and stone, edging beds and walkways to a defined line. Summer afternoons here go bright and dry in a hurry, so the cut is timed to be kind to the turf. Cleanups run at both ends of the season, spring debris out and autumn leaves cleared away. What comes of it is grass that holds its color deep into September.
