Degan Landscape Management

About Degan Landscape Management

Newton is the county seat, so its lots and frontages fill early — offices along Sparta Avenue, small plazas, the parking aprons that have to be usable by eight. Degan Landscape Management works to that clock: mowing and trimming on schedule through the green months, edges held tidy, cleanups in spring and again when the leaves come down. In winter the plow goes on, lots are cleared and stacked, sidewalks shoveled, salt spread across the pitch where meltwater runs. Weather in the Kittatinny Valley can turn between a forecast and a morning, which is why the plan gets made before it does. Managed ground looks calm, and the calm is the accomplishment.
