Green Care Lawns

About Green Care Lawns

New Gretna sits where the pines meet the salt marsh, and the Bass River slides past the village dark as steeped tea, stained by the cedar swamps upstream. Green Care Lawns does lawn care in this quiet corner of Burlington County, where sandy Pine Barrens soil and summer heat make a green lawn something earned. In June the pitch pines scent the warm air and the grass grows hardest before the dry spells settle in. Green Care keeps the grass cut, the edges sharp and the trim work tidy, so lawns hold their color against the sand and sun. Out here, a soft green yard set among the scrub oak and pine feels like a small oasis, and keeping it that way is deeply satisfying work.
