Everyones Grandpa Home & Yard

About Everyones Grandpa Home & Yard

Some streets in Mount Olive are the kind where everybody knows whose dog that is, and Everyones Grandpa Home & Yard tends the lawns along them. The work is mowing, trimming and yard cleanups — unhurried, thorough, the corners finished by hand where a mower cannot reach. A yard looked after this way announces itself from the road: no shaggy strip under the fence, no ring of long grass left around the mailbox post. Summers here are short and green and worth sitting out in, and a tidy lawn is most of what makes that possible. It is small work, done attentively, on the streets where it shows.
