Newton Creek keeps a green seam along the edge of Mount Ephraim, and on a June evening the light comes in low and level down the borough's grid of streets. Wolfe's landscaping mows those yards all season — front lawns about the size of a good rug, backyards behind chain link, every one of them visible to whoever walks past. Weekly cutting, trimmer work along fences and foundations, edges cut where grass meets sidewalk, mulched beds, and leaf clearing once the maples finish in November. Small lots leave nowhere to hide a missed corner. Catching every one of them is the craft, and a whole block of tidy front yards is what it adds up to.
