Alpine Tree Service

About Alpine Tree Service

On a January morning the Whippany River steams a little below Speedwell Lake, and the sycamores along it stand white-limbed against everything else that is gray. Alpine Tree Service takes those winter days on purpose: frozen ground carries equipment, and a bare crown tells the truth about itself. Pruning done then is exact — the crossing limbs, the old stubs, the weak fork that would have failed under a wet March snow. Trimming opens rooflines and drives on the streets running down toward the water, and removal takes out whatever the last few seasons have already condemned. The end of a day is a driveway swept clean of sawdust and a yard that looks like nobody worked in it.
