Greenwood Tree and Lawn

About Greenwood Tree and Lawn

September around Community Park: the oaks still full, the ball fields cut short, the evenings arriving a little earlier each week. Greenwood Tree and Lawn works the lawns of Morris Plains through that turn — mowing, edging, trimming, then chasing the leaf fall once the big trees start letting go in earnest. Under mature oaks the leaves have to come off more than once, and doing it right is why the grass comes back in April instead of struggling. In winter the work becomes plowing, shoveling and salting, driveways and walks opened before the morning rush. One property, two rhythms, tended straight through.
