About Upper Mountain Landscaping

From the top of Upper Mountain Avenue the Manhattan skyline stands up out of the haze, and behind you the woods of Mills Reservation run on for a mile. Upper Mountain Landscaping keeps the lawns in between — mowing, edging, trimming, and the cleanups that ridge properties need when the reservation drops its leaves over the fence line. Lots up here tilt, and a slope changes everything about how you cut it and where the clippings end up. Late afternoon is the good hour: sun low behind the crest, a fresh-mown yard going gold on the high side and cool green on the low. Ordinary work with an extraordinary view, and both halves get taken seriously.
