Tim's Lawn Maintenance

About Tim's Lawn Maintenance

Out on the river road north of Milford, a July thunderstorm can be watched coming for twenty minutes before it arrives. Tim's Lawn Maintenance works between those storms, cutting the borough lawns and the farm-edge yards where mown grass meets a hayfield with nothing but a clean line to separate them. Mowing, trimming around posts and outbuildings, edging along the drive, hauling off the fall leaves — that is the list, repeated properly. Rain makes the grass jump, so the schedule bends and the week gets rearranged, and the lawns still get cut. Then the storm rolls off toward Pennsylvania and everything smells like cut grass and wet stone.
