Metuchen is a borough of big street trees, and on Grove Avenue in July the shade moves across the lawns like water. Bolvito Lawn Care and Maintenance works those small, tidy yards the way they deserve — mowing on a steady week, edging the sidewalk squares, trimming around the porch steps, mulching the beds and seeding where the shade has thinned the turf. In the other half of the year the work turns over to snow: plowing the short driveways, shoveling walks and front steps, salting where the sidewalk tips toward the street. Fall means leaves, and in this town there are a great many leaves. Same yards, same hands, every month on the calendar.
