Late fall around Bargaintown and Patcong Creek turns the color of strong tea — oak leaves down, the water low, the pines holding everything else in place. McKee's Services keeps lawns through that stretch and the whole green season ahead of it: mowing on schedule, edging along drives and walkways, trimming what the deck cannot reach, clearing beds and carrying leaves off the property. Grass out here grows on sand and wants a taller cut than most people expect, and getting that right is half of a lawn that still looks good in August. The last mow of the year, short and even ahead of frost, is a small pleasure. The route covers McKee City, Egg Harbor Township, Bargaintown, Cardiff and Somers Point.
